The Oakbridge design begins with the siting of the house which makes best use of the sun from morning to evening for heating and daylight.

The exterior design uses favourites in respect to claddings including cedar, plaster, metal and glass.

Architectural forms are simple, informal and distinctive.

The colour palate is based on neutral colours which help to integrate with and enliven the landscape.

Internal spaces are designed to be in proportion to the overall footprint and have a sense of expansion due to their connectedness with the outside.

Indoor and outdoor flow and outlook is maximised to enhance the general living experience.

The first indication of this is from the entry where there is a look through to substantial planting and a water feature.

The landscape overall plays a very important part in respect in respect to outlook.

This is further enhanced by attractive external parts of the house intended to be viewed from within the house as a backdrop.

Window set out and size coupled with opening sashes to providing cross ventilation in conjunction with external lovure assemblies help to moderate and control solar gain.
